I didn't know that there is a special event at St. James', a celebration of something very special to both Zhuhe and Yanling, until I saw D.J., who is Daphne's husband (and another friend of mine).
"Oh, it's surprising to see you here," I stepped forward and greeted D.J., when he was coming in, wearing a smart suit and tie. "You are so well-dressed today! Why?" I asked, looking at him curiously.
"Daphne called me, and wanted me to come ..." D.J. seemed to be explaining something. But it took me quite a few moments to get the full picture about what is going on here at St. James'. -- D.J. usually serves at another church on Sundays, though his wife and their daughters come to St. James' regularly. No wonder his appearance here at noontime would make me very excited!
But what's actually going on here and now? [Please see the above photo and the photos below.] Obviously, the key persons for today (or, as in a story or drama, the "main characters") are Zhuhe and Yanling, whose fifteenth wedding anniversary is celebrated in a happy manner ... in such a cheerful atmosphere!
