參加「三姊 咱的愛」音樂會 (An Unforgettable Concert)

首先，要大大地恭賀「三姊 咱的愛」師生音樂會，順利成功，獲得滿堂彩！（可見「三姊」是一位良師益友，大家都愛她。）

其次，要特別感謝「三姊」的學生 Jiaqi (音譯)［或作 Chia Chi，我真的很遜，還不清楚是哪兩個中文字！］感謝這位「名師所出之高徒」主辦這場音樂會 --- 今晚，由 Jiaqi 和「三姊」交替主持，節目的進行順暢、自然，始終洋溢著無比溫馨的氣氛！

最後，我 (Jerry) 要坦誠告白，自己忝為「三姊」的學生之一，莫非先天條件有限，加上後天努力不足，上台唱一首自以為已經會唱的 A Man Without Love，居然----果然，中途「出槌」了兩三次。啊！這真真實實驗證了一句話：「台上三分鐘，台下十年功。」不過，這是我一生當中「第一次」上台演唱英文歌曲，真的是 for the first time 呢！你說，我的感動 . . . 是多麼大、多麼深啊！

singing the new song that he's just composed.

At the end of the program, San Jie is given flowers 

by her son and her daughter and . . . .

聖洗禮 -- Holy Baptism on the Day of Pentecost

Women wei ben ri (Shengling Jianglin Ri 聖靈降臨日) lingxi de ren qidao!

Jintian zai Sheng Yage Tang lingxi de, gong you wu wei: Xu Xiujin dixiong, Zhang Cuiling jiemei, Liao Dawei dixiong, Lai Shaoan xiaopengyou, Lai yu'an xiaopengyou, qizhong Zhang Cuiling jiemei shi jieshou suowei "shiyi xili" (釋疑洗禮), yinwei ta yizhi wufa queding shifou cengjing zai yinger shiqi shouguo "yinger xili".

親情 (Family Love)

"Family love (親情) is a traditional virtue in Chinese and other Asian cultures. It is basically the love within a family among the parents and children." This is the best definition of the Chinese phrase "親情" that I've ever found on the Internet.

If you asked me to translate 友情 (or 友誼) into English, I would say "friendship"; if you wanted to know what 手足之情 (or 兄弟情) means, I would use the English word "brotherhood" as an equivalent. However, just as some English words have no Chinese equivalents, I believe that it is impossible to find an English term that means exactly the same as qinqing (親情) -- Well, the English word kinship means the relationship between members of the same family. That is, kinship is 親屬關係. But kinship is not equal to 親情.

What, then, do we think of qinqing (親情) in Asian cultures? Maybe it can be simply translated as "family love" or, in its original literal sense, interpreted as "the affection or love between members of the same family." Anyway, we should be happy and proud that people in Taiwan [and those in other places] still treasure this unique form of "family love."

台中都會公園 (Taichung Metropolitan Park)

好一個「都會公園---駱駝會」！大晴天，艷陽高照，我們相約同行，談天說地，在忙碌的生活中偷得「半日閒」，輕鬆自在，卻如同電池充電一般，蓄積新的能量。而中餐，在「三元花園餐廳」 (Sanwon Garden, in Taichung) 吃韓式傳統料理，別有一番趣味，也讓我印象深刻。

看見這棵白千層，讓我想起念師專時，校園運動場外

靠近「黑龍江」的那一排高大、蒼老的白千層！

真稀奇！竟然有「紅」千層！
