These additional photos show the beautiful scenery that Jean and I enjoyed seeing in The Green Green Grazing (清境農場的青青草原) as well as the B&B where we stayed for the night (陽光花園山莊).

An Outing: 清境二日遊(民宿 + 青青草原)
#2011-1228A
Following are pictures taken from Tuesday (Dec. 27) to Wednesday (Dec. 28) while Jean and I were visiting Qingjing Farm (or spelled Cingjing Farm; 清境農場), in Ren'ai, Nantou County. We stayed at a B&B named Sunshine Garden (陽光花園山莊) for the night. And in the daytime we spent several hours walking leisurely inside The Green Green Grazing (青青草原), where we saw quite a number of sheep grazing in a leisurely way!

Merry Christmas, 2011
#2011-1225
Everybody I met today said "Merry Christmas" to me; some added "And Happy New Year." I said the same to them and I was really excited about what we joined at St. James' yesterday and today.
Yesterday Jean and I participated in the Chinese-and-English combined service on Christmas Eve. The service started at 7:30 p.m. with Rev. Philip Lin and Rev. Jason Ke as celebrants and Rev. Charles Chen as preacher. I was one of the two LEMs, the other being Mr. Samuel (the senior warden). I was very excited about my singing in the five-person "English choir" during the service: Hans, Warren, Paul Lee, Ji-Tian, and I (five men from the English-speaking congregation) sang "Come with Me to Bethlehem" as bravely/loudly as we could, though we had almost gotten no time for rehearsal in advance.
[By the way, we five come from five different countries: Hans is from Germany, Warren from the US, Paul Lee from South Korea, Ji-Tian from Japan, and I am Taiwanese.]
This morning the English service started at 9:30, as usual; and the Chinese service, at 10:30. After these two services was a special dinner party, so-called "Christmas banquet", held on the playground of St. James'. For many years there had not been such an outdoor dinner party inside the St. James' church (or kindergarten). So, as I could tell, all the people who participated in this meal were so very happy and excited.
What's more, I was most happy that all my family (including Little Bee) came and celebrated this year's Christmas Day together with me, in the same way as our brothers and sisters in Christ did at St. James'. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless each of us!
