Do you, my dear wife, remember where and how we celebrated this important day last year?
I have no idea at all. As we are getting older, it seems difficult for us—especially for me—to remember things that happened recently.
You, my dear, always have a better memory than I do. I, in contrast, rely much more on written notes, or on my previous posts on Mookoo’s Home.
But forgetting things easily may also be a good thing, in a sense. It helps us pay more attention to the present.
The present moment is indeed a precious present.
In March, we like to celebrate each other’s birthdays. I have called March “Our Month.” Perhaps “Our” deserves to be capitalized—thanks be to the Lord!
💜💗💚💖💙
Note: The first three pictures below were taken on Monday, while the others were taken today. The number “73” on the strawberry-decorated cake indicates that I am now in my seventy-third year; officially, I am regarded as seventy-two years old.
