About three months ago, Jean and I took our grandson Little Shine with us for a hike. We went up the hill behind Mingtai High School, walked along the Zhong-Xin-Long footpath, passed through the Hou-Shan woods (which is part of Provincial Memorial Park), and then returned home via Wufeng Elementary School, Bentang Park, etc.It was Little Shine's first time to go hiking on this path. And it was a long walk for a three-year-old boy to take. But Shine was stronger than I had expected. He got through the "task"; and what's more, he looked very excited about what he saw on the way, for example, a map on the stone wall, a few pieces of exercise equipment in the playground, and a bird's eye view of the campus of Wufeng Elementary School. Obviously our second grandson (Little Shine) is smart, talented, and very energetic, just like our first grandson (Little Bee). -- Now both of them have been taken to southern Taiwan to live with their parents, Jean and I miss them a lot. That's why I have added to my blog (Mookoo's Home) these pictures which were taken in the middle of August.
