#2023-1207
Yesterday, Jean and I visited Dajia once again. Our purpose was not only to visit her mother, who is also my mother-in-law, but also to meet Dasao (or Dà Săo), my sister-in-law, as she had just returned home from the hospital where she had stayed for exactly two months.
On October 7th, Dasao was badly injured in an accident. She was on the road near her house, riding a motorcycle, when a car suddenly hit her from behind. She fell and suffered a severe blow to the head, leading to an emergency craniotomy (that is, a surgical operation for opening the skull). Fortunately, the head operation was very successful, and she visibly improved day by day.
After being hospitalized for two months, she was discharged from the hospital yesterday and returned home for recuperation. Jean and I, as well as all other family members, are so happy that my Dasao's health has greatly improved in this period of time. We all pray that she can completely recover from such a terrible injury and, in the near future, be able to enjoy her favorite hobby of hiking in high mountains as she used to do. O Lord, help her and keep protecting her, my dear sister-in-law, day and night. Amen.

附註 (Note): The photo I have used as an illustration for this article was originally taken in Japan. The image of the snowing scene serves as a symbol, suggesting that even on a very cold day or during challenging times, moments can transform into something remarkably beautiful in our human memories.
