初學者~祖孫拿小、中提琴合奏
"Long, Long Ago"
Long, long ago, when the little boy was just born, his father was far away in Hong Kong, studying at a theological college. I had the honor of being the first person—more precisely, the first family member—to cradle him in my arms! At that moment, his mom needed some rest in bed, and coincidentally, his grandma, my wife, had stepped out from the hospital where the little kid had just been born.
Even though it all took place "long, long ago," in September 2014, I can vividly recall those special moments. Astonishingly, the little kid has grown to the point where he's now learning to play the viola. One of his assignments is to perform "Long, Long Ago" by T. H. Bayly, a piece I'm also familiar with. "Would you let me play with you?" I asked him—my second grandson, Shine (or John). In the video clip below, you'll see me using a violin while he tentatively handles his viola. Together, we play the simple, nostalgic melody!
** 在下方的短片中,您會看到我用小提琴,而我的孫子用中提琴;我們合奏一段簡單而充滿懷舊感的旋律.....
