It is great fun to teach English speakers to speak Mandarin. Last summer I taught Jenna and Melissa (See #2012-0811). In the summer of 2011 I taught Stephanie DeHann and Katie Clark, who shared the Jewish culture with us (See #2011-0807). -- Well, did I teach Rusty and Marcela in the summer of 2010? I almost forgot about that summer. But I remember I taught Rebecca and Jillian in the summer of 2009. Teaching all those "foreign teachers" at St. James' Kindergarten, even in different years, made me feel so good; I always had a wonderful time when teaching them to speak Mandarin Chinese. Now, as summer has come, I am again appointed to teach two new "students." They are English teachers for the summer program at St. James'. They are husband and wife, named Tom Walsh and Maura Walsh, who had just arrived from Boston, USA. I hope I will teach Basic Mandarin Chinese to them more successfully this coming July.
Look! It was a special "welcome party" organized for Tom and Maura yesterday evening! -- Among the 17 photos displayed on this page, only seven were taken by me. I thank Shin Chia Chen and I-Chen Lin for their generous contribution! (註:部份照片轉載自 Shin Chia Chen 的 Facebook,另一部分由 I-Chen Lin 提供,特此致謝。)
