奧地利：哈修塔特湖 (Lake Hallstatt)、沃夫岡湖 (Lake Wolfgang)

六月十日這天，我們遊覽奧地利 (Austria) 西部的湖區：先到「哈修塔特湖」 (Lake Hallstatt / 德語 Hallstätter See)，然後到「沃夫岡湖」 (Lake Wolfgang / 德語 Wolfgangsee)。

「哈修塔特湖」長 5.9 公里、寬 2.3 公里，面積 8.55 平方公里，海拔高度 508 公尺，最大水深 125 公尺，是「水肺潛水」(scuba diving) 的熱門地點。不過，我們是搭船遊湖的。（參閱下列第 1 至 7 張照片。）

「沃夫岡湖」面積 13 平方公里，集水區面積 125 平方公里，海拔高度 538 公尺，平均水深 52 公尺，最大水深 114 公尺，蓄水量 6.7 立方公里。除了觀賞這兒美麗動人的山光水色，我們還路過有名的「白馬飯店」(White Horse Inn / 德語 Im Weißes Rössl) ----鎮上的高級旅館習慣以動物為名，除了「白馬飯店」，附近還有「黑馬飯店」「白鹿飯店」等。後來，我和琴走進一座金碧輝煌、裝飾華的教堂，名叫「聖沃夫岡教堂」（又稱「朝聖教堂」），剛巧堂內空無一人，我們可以靜靜地祈禱片刻。（參閱下列第 8 至 23 張照片）

傳說，St. Wolfgang (聖沃夫岡) 於西元 976 年聖誕節期間來到此地。有一天，他聽到神諭說：「沃夫岡！你用手把斧頭丟下山，在斧頭落下的地方建一座教堂吧！」他於是建立了「聖沃夫岡教堂」。(可點這裡查閱：補充資料 Saint Wolfgang erected the first church at the shore of the Wolfgangsee after he withdrew to the nearby Mondsee Abbey in 976. According to legend he threw an axe down the mountain to find the site and even persuaded the Devil to contribute to the building by promising him the first living being ever entering the church. However Satan was disappointed as the first creature over the doorstep was a wolf.) 啊！好美的傳說；但是 wolf (狼) 和 這位聖人的名字 (Wolfgang 直譯為「狼群」)，是否密切相關呢？
