曾經為坡道上的綠色蔓藤
爭辯：是絲瓜？瓠瓜？還是南瓜？
如今我們不再爭辯了
因為天氣熱，已烘乾（或燙死）這
來不及開花、來不及結果的生命
不過，也曬出了這一葉（頁）生命的色彩。

We once argued about the green vines on the slope:
Are they plants of Luffa? or Calabash? or Pumpkin?
Now we will be arguing no more;
the hot weather has dried (and killed) this
imperfect life that will never bears flowers or fruits.
Nevertheless, exposed on this leaf (or page) are colors of the life.
