People often say these: "No pain, no gain." "You get what you pay for." "As you sow, so shall you reap." Or these, as Chinese sayings: "一分耕耘, 一分收穫; meaning The more you sow, the more you'll harvest." "要怎麼收穫, 先怎麼栽; meaning You'll reap nothing without sowing anything first."
But we know that we didn't work on this vegetable garden until this fruit-picking day -- Our mom just wants to share with her children everything she has in her backyard garden!
