#2021-1211
I was surprised at the coming of Rev. Keith Lee (李鎮丞牧師). This morning he came from Taipei to visit Rev. Sam Cheng (鄭慶三牧師) at Wufeng, in Taichung City, with a newly-made stole (聖帶) as a gift from the Diocese.
It was Jean that told me about Rev. Keith's coming. When she went to our neighbors Rev. Sam and his wife (Ms. Guoli Ji 姬老師) this morning, she saw Rev. Keith chatting with them there in their living room. She quickly returned home and told me to come over to say hello to Rev. Keith.
Our meeting here was short, but we all had a wonderful time, chatting and laughing. Before leaving, Rev. Keith prayed especially for us. Our common response was a loud "Amen." -- Yes, we strongly feel that we are all in God's love: the Agape (聖愛) revealed by our Lord Jesus Christ!

Notes:
- Regarding God's love in Christ, there are 16 Bible verses: John 3:16, Romans 5:8, John 16:27, Titus 3:4, 1 John 3:1, Romans 8:35, John 14:21, Romans 5:5, Ephesians 3:17, 1 John 4:9, Ephesians 2:4, Romans 8:37, Romans 1:7, John 14:23, John 17:23, 1 Timothy 1:14.
- What does "love in Christ" actually mean? Here are quotations from Kym Palmer's answer:
"It means to love someone with the love poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit of God. Our own imperfect love fails, fades, ebbs and flows as we grow tired, hungry, go through pain and sorrow, good times and bad. But God's love is always patient, kind, doesn't envy, is never jealous, never arrogant or rude, and it can never fail. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." . . . "Telling someone that we love them in Christ (which is a reference to the presence of the Holy Spirit) means we are admitting that the relationship isn't held together by our own will and emotions but by our Father's gift of grace -- His Holy Spirit."
