東京之旅 Day 3: Tokyo Skytree

As far as I know, Tokyo Skytree (東京晴空塔) is a broadcasting and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo (東京墨田區). It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 634 meters in March 2011, making it the tallest tower in the world, displacing the Canton Tower (廣州塔, nicknamed 小蠻腰, 600 meters tall), and the third tallest structure in the world after the Merdeka 118 (莫狄卡118, 高度 678.9 meters) and the Burj Khalifa (哈里發塔, 總高度 829.8 meters, 扣除天線頂端則為 828 meters!).
It seems that members of the Liang family have sort of acrophobia (懼高症, an irrational fear or phobia of heights). I always joke that our ancestor(s) must have fallen from great heights -- say, from a tall tree or something, and that their horrific experiences were genetically passed down. Otherwise, how would my grandchildren and I be so afraid of heights? -- Oh, Lord have mercy; may He help us!
