The so-called "Last Piece of Land" has just been sold. This is beyond our expectation; we've always thought it would be difficult for the land to get a buyer.
However, a nice buyer just showed up this afternoon: She's a woman from Vietnam, married with a local man living in Daqi (literally, Big Banner), a village next to Shuichangliu (水長流, meaning "the water in the creek flows far and long!")...
The buyer's name: Chén Qīng-Huá.
Total price of the land: NT$7,000,000.
Land agent: Chen Jun-Fu (陳俊甫).
