再一次健行

又一次健行，登上「中心壠」，穿過山上的鳳梨園、荔枝園，走到「玉蘭谷」；再從那低窪的谷地，沿著溪邊小徑走出來，來到我們熟悉的「民主紀念園區」，然後回家。天氣還是有點涼（或冷），而祖孫的心卻是熱呼呼的，不是嗎？

附註：本詩押《中華新韻》之「八寒 an, ian, uan, üan」韻。在《平水韻》中，「寒、歡」二字則屬於「上平聲十四寒」，而「山」字屬於「上平聲十五刪」，兩者互為「鄰韻」，因此算是符合「首句襯韻」的原則。

The Boy's Winter Vacation

As a first-grader, my first grandson has just finished his first semester's studies at Qieding Elementary School, Kaohsiung City, and is spending his "nice winter vacation" with Jean and me at Wufeng -- that is, his hometown.

He seems to love this home-place very much. And Jean and I have already talked about how to "enrich" his vacation life here with us: We will probably take him again to Flying Cow Ranch, Sun Moon Lake, and/or Xitou. We will spend a lot of time playing or studying together with him, as before. And, of course, the three of us will go to church together on Sundays -- during this "nice winter vacation."

生日宴會在一家名為「花現鳥巢」的餐廳舉辦。餐廳位於大甲區中山路一段，內部裝潢很有特色。我們全家歡聚，滿屋子笑聲洋溢，很有幸福的感覺！

祈求上主，賜下平安喜樂，給我慈愛無比的岳母，今日、明日、以及未來的每一日，都如此 ---- 蒙恩得福。阿們。
