A Quick Decision to Visit Here . . .

This afternoon we decided on a whim to visit Sun Moon Lake again. We enjoyed a red sunset while taking a walk by the lake. Then, as we sometimes did before, we spent the night at the Youth Activity Center (日月潭青年活動中心).

"When did we come here last time?"

"Well, let me see. Was it seven or eight months ago?"

It seems rather hard for us to remember exactly when we came. Both of us are getting old and forgetting things more easily than before. But side by side, or hand in hand, we moved forward slowly -- and steadily!

"It's okay," we said to each other. We'd always remember to create some "new memories" for tomorrow by doing something at the moment to Relax, Recharge, Refresh, Refine, and Renew." (These five R's can be seen in the last two photos below.)

The New School and New Bikes!

因為爸爸的工作調動，兩兄弟又得「轉學」啦！他們好懷念（真的好懷念！）原來「北教大附小」的同學和師長。可是沒辦法，總要跟隨爸爸媽媽「轉」到花蓮來就讀。

學校早已開學，但由於感染 Covid-19 必須「居家隔離」，遲至今日，弟弟才開始到新學校上課。哥哥上星期已獲准到校，先上了兩天課，算是「比較有經驗」的，所以今天「順理成章／義不容辭」就帶著弟弟一道來上學了。

看來這是一所很好的學校：ＭＹ國小。這幾天奶奶特別說，如果兄弟倆能「很快」適應新學校的生活作息，那麼，就要贈送他們腳踏車（每人一輛），當作今年的生日禮物。真快 (Soon enough . . .)，今天下午在爸爸協助下，已經把兩份禮物給買回來「試騎」啦 ！ (See the last photo below.)

My first grandson, James Liang, served as an acolyte for the first time. Look at the pictures re-shared below. The pictures were taken this morning at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Hualien. How excited this 6th-grader must be! And, you know, all of us (including his parents, grandparents, his brother and his friends!) are so proud of him. Thanks and praise to the Lord!
