Brunch Is Not Noly Breakfast and Lunch

#2010-1107

The English-speaking congregation of the St. James' Church usually have a "brunch" meeting on the first Sunday every month. As you can see [in the following pictures], we had one on the 8th floor after service on November 7.

Personally I have strong feelings about such a gathering. In the dictionary, the word "brunch" is defined as "a combination of breakfast and lunch"; but, for each of us who are members of this small but beautiful congregation, such a brunch meeting means much more than "breakfast and lunch." It's far beyond "eating a meal in the late morning." In point of fact it has lots of fun . . . and is full of friendship and love.

Oh! Love! Love between brothers and sisters and, more significantly, love from our Lord Jesus Christ!

(May you, readers of this life-note, be all blessed by the Lord!)
