好友出遊（照片第二輯）
Good friends are so real. They comfort and encourage each other; they can make you laugh, or cry, or angry at something together! ... You know, Jean and I are so lucky to have had these very "nice and kind" good friends; for the most part, we all have the same interests (for example, we love reading and singing classical Chinese poetry); and we do have the similar qualities of personality -- that is, our personal traits are almost the same, even though our family backgrounds are somewhat different.
Thanks to the Lord! Today we've gotten an opportunity to be together again. We went for sightseeing in Guoxing (my hometown) and the Puli-Yuchi area. We visited a Taoist-and-Buddhist temple (禪機山仙佛寺) in Guoxing, enjoyed delicious "thick rice noodles" (米苔目) in Peishan, and had lunch at a countryside restaurant named Snail House (田螺屋土雞城) in Yuchi; after lunch we visited the Kong Ming temple (孔明廟) next to the Snail House, and then went hiking up Mt. Golden Dragon (金龍山), a good place for sunrise-watching, where we had tea and coffee made by our good brother Mr. Rongfen Wang (榮棻大哥) and had a lot more of chatting and singing and ... laughing!
What a wonderful day it is! We are all very excited today. By the way, today Jean and I met and got to know an expert in Chinese ink painting, Mr. Jingxiang Qiu (邱景祥), who joined us all the way in the sightseeing. He looks so nice too.
