It's Pentecost Sunday (聖靈降臨日) today. In spite of the local epidemic situation, quite a number of people went to church to celebrate it.
I myself joined in St. James' English service online; I didn't attend it in person because Jean had just returned to me from Dajia, where she had spent for over a week taking care of her old mother. (The woman who usually takes care of her mother was previously diagnosed with COVID-19!)
Thank the Lord. The Holy Spirit has now come to keep and bless us, no matter how seriously the COVID-19 pandemic has affected our everyday life. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all evermore!
