Easter Day, 2024

We are currently in Hualien celebrating Easter Day, one of the most important holidays for Christians.

This year, St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hualien held an outdoor service on Easter Day. We gathered at Nanbin Park (南濱公園, officially known as 太平洋公園南濱段) at 10:00 am, and the Holy Eucharist, officiated by the celebrant Rev. Antony Liang, began around 10:30 am. Following the service, there was a fun event called "Hunting for Easter Eggs," which particularly delighted children and young people.

May the Lord abundantly bless all of you and us from this day onward...

Jinwan, women quan jia zai Hualian Sheng Lujia Tang (花蓮聖路加堂) canjia "Zhu fuhuo da-shouye". Libai cong wanshang qi dian ban kaishi. Xian zai jiaotang pangbian de kongdi dianran "xin huo" (new fire / 新火) bing jie yi yinran "fuhuo lazhu" (Paschal candle / Easter candle / 復活蠟燭). Ranhou liedui zou jin jiaotang, zhongtu tingbu san ci, chang:

Qi (啟): Jidu zhi guang (基督之光).

Ying (應): Ganxie Shangdi (感謝上帝).

Jinru jiaotang hou, you Zhang Weihan dixiong (張偉翰弟兄) ji Liang Shengkun dixiong (梁聖坤弟兄) songchang "Fuhuo Songzan" (復活頌讚). Ranhou, yi xilie de liyi yi xu zhankai, baokuo Shengyan liyi (聖言禮儀), Gengxin xili shiyue (更新洗禮誓約), Gan'en shengli (感恩聖禮). Jie xialai cai shi "Jiangdao (講道), Huizhong daidao (會眾代禱), Ping'an li (平安禮), Shengcan li (聖餐禮) dengdeng.
