This afternoon, we went caroling at Wuquan Community Center (commonly referred to as 五權里老家據點 in our language), which is managed and supported by the Hualien County Elderly and Family Care Association, a "registered association" officially named 社團法人花蓮縣老人暨家庭關懷協會.

Jean and I fondly recall joining in the singing of Christmas carols at Guoguang Community Center (國光里老家據點) last year. Upon hearing that St. Luke's Episcopal Church had gone caroling there last week, we made sure not to miss the opportunity to share the glad tidings at Wuquan Community Center this afternoon.

The photos (and the short video clip) below capture the cheerful atmosphere in the hall, even as rain fell steadily outside. The first two photos include the Hualien City mayor and the Association's chairperson.
