Oh, Meilun Hill (or Mountain)!
It’s such a nice place for a walk, just behind (or beyond!) Meilun Creek—and both are within walking distance from our “dorm.”
This afternoon, during our family hike, I was touched by the melody-like chirping of birds. I couldn’t tell exactly what kinds of birds they were, but clearly there were many—each producing different notes, some long and some short, some high and some low.
That music felt like an essential part of nature. Mother Nature’s own orchestra, isn’t it?
I didn’t record the birds’ songs, but I’d like to share with you a few photos I took. I hope they spark your imagination. Maybe, as you look at them, you’ll see (and even hear) something more than just birds. Enjoy whatever you may perceive.
