Below is a brief description of the Paschal Triduum from English Wikipedia:

"The Paschal Triduum or Easter Triduum (Latin: Triduum Paschale), Holy Triduum (Latin: Triduum Sacrum), or the Three Days, is the Christian period of three days that begins with the liturgy on the evening of Maundy Thursday, reaches its high point in the Easter Vigil, and closes with evening prayer on Easter Sunday. It is a moveable observance recalling the Passion, Crucifixion, Death, burial, and Resurrection of Jesus, as portrayed in the canonical Gospels."

I spent this year’s Holy Week — from March 29 through April 4 — in Hualien. Below are a few photos I took during Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Great Vigil of Easter.

During the Easter Vigil, we witnessed the holy baptism of a young brother and sister, Baowen Yu (尉寶文) and Xinyun Yu (尉馨允). We congratulated them both and gave thanks to the Lord for His love and grace shown to them—and to all of us.
