Our Final Sunday Worship at St. Luke's

#2026-0628

Today, the three of us—James, Jean, and I—shared a special experience during Sunday worship, as it was our final Sunday (and perhaps our last Sunday here in 2026) at St. Luke's Church in Hualien.

We are planning to return soon to Wufeng, where Jean and I usually live in what we consider our second hometown. James will come with us and continue his high school studies in Taichung City.

Our dear brothers and sisters at St. Luke's Episcopal Church warmly prayed for our family, the Liangs. They also prepared thoughtful gifts for us, along with a beautiful farewell card on which many of them wrote heartfelt messages that deeply touched our hearts.

Dear friends, we are truly grateful for your love, generosity, and friendship. You have not only made this past year so meaningful for us, but have also filled us with new hope and joy as we look forward to the future with greater confidence.

We love each of you as well, and we especially thank our Lord for giving us the opportunity to come to know one another and to worship God our Father together in the name of Jesus Christ.

May God richly bless each one of you, now and forevermore.
