Long time no see! I miss you terribly dear Bird. Where are you now? And how's everything going with you?

Last year you showed up in the woods so often that it was easy for me to bump into you when I took a walk there -- especially in the late afternoon. But now, in recent months, where have you been hiding?

Well, it's been quite a long time since I last saw you. Have you moved out of the woods for a new home? For a better living? For your good friends and your family members? Or did you have any other reason to leave there? -- It seems true, even for humans, that life is not always easy. Say, in these two years we human beings have been undergoing the worldwide pandemic. And since February 24 this year, when the war between Russia and Ukraine broke out, more and more people on earth have felt the fear of war -- or, in a broader sense, many of us have felt threatened by the serious conflicts (including military and non-military conflicts) between different countries -- and peoples!

If the serious conflicts between so many countries (and peoples) get worse and worse, will it be likely that World War III will break out soon? Are you and I going to witness the End of the World just before we suddenly pass away? How horrible it will be if you the Bird and I (as well as our offspring) have to undergo such a curse in person! . . .
