Stories Along Meilun Creek

Look at the photos I’m sharing below, and you’ll see what I saw while strolling along Meilun Creek this afternoon.

In the first picture, which I placed both on the right and below, you can see a building half demolished by a machine. It needed to come down because an earlier earthquake had left it badly damaged. Seen from beyond the bridge, what’s left now looks like a strange yet fascinating structure, doesn’t it?

Just a couple of days ago, I heard the loud noise of a huge machine tearing it down!
