We have now completed the editing of this particular memorial book honoring St. James 15th anniversary as a parish. We want to say “thank you” to ALL the persons who helped make this book possible by being writers, photographers, advisers, publishers, and, of course, the individual “characters” depicted in the various stories in this book. Certainly we will not forget to say “Thank You” to God our Lord. And, at this very moment, we are so grateful and delighted that we would like to quote two well-known prayers [from The Book of Common Prayer] as an epilogue or afterword:

I. A Prayer attributed to St. Francis (Page 833, BCP)

Lord, make us instruments of your peace. Where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, union; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. Grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

II. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (Page 102, BCP)

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us all evermore. Amen.

一、 聖法蘭西斯禱文（公禱書第696頁）

主阿，求你使我們成為你和平的工具。在有憎恨的地方，叫我們散播仁愛；在有傷害的地方，叫我們散播饒恕；在有紛爭的地方，叫我們散播聯合；在有疑惑的地方，叫我們散播信心；在有失望的地方，叫我們散播盼望；在有黑暗的地方，叫我們散播光明；在有憂傷的地方，叫我們散播喜樂。求你施恩，叫我們不要過分求別人的幫助，而是要去幫助人；不要過分求別人的了解，而是要去了解人；不要過分求別人的愛，而是要去愛人。因為在付出中，我們就得著；在寬恕中，我們就被寬恕；在死亡中，我們就得進入永生。阿們。

二、 使徒禱文（公禱書第66頁）

願主耶穌基督的恩惠，上帝的慈愛，聖靈的感動，常與我們眾人同在。阿們。
