Together with Dr. Daotian Guo and his wife, Keyang, we enjoyed the happiest moments on Lunar New Year's Eve, sharing nianyefan (a "renuion dinner") at St. Luke's Church in Hualien. During and after the meal, we chatted freely about everything, including some memorable anecdotes from our past. We smiled and laughed time and again, as we had so many similar life experiences to share. I'm very grateful to the Lord for making it possible for Jean and me to come to know Dr. Guo and his wife as good friends, even though our two families have usually lived so far apart.
