Some trees on the slope had been severely damaged by an accidental fire. Yet this morning, in the bright sunshine, I was surprised to see something green on the bare branches (see photos).
It must be new life—either new leaves or perhaps a parasitic plant—growing high up there! It's a wonderful sight, a new hope, and a meaningful symbol.
We've had a lot of rain showers recently, which has allowed the thirsty, dying plants to regain life, especially during this extremely hot summer. Thanks and praise to the Lord!
