While every one of her friends rented and rode one bike, Jean and I rented a tandem (= a bicycle designed for two riders) for ourselves. Riding on the same bike, especially on this kind of electric tandem, we could easily talk to each other on the way -- We both love chatting. And a quiet country road is ideal for cycling. So, as you can see (or imagine), cycling plus chatting has made this morning so very special and enjoyable for Jean and me. [But we wouldn't forget to say Thank You to those good friends of OURS.]
