In total, there were nine of us, including my two grandkids and the Lucky-7 group, consisting of A-Chang-Ge, Li-Qing, Lao Zhan, Xiuzhen, Grace Chang, Jean, and me (Mookoo Liang). We had a wonderful time eating breakfast at Rose Laura Cafe today.

My grandkids, James and John, came back to Wufeng with their mother yesterday for a short stay. The two boys are living in Hualien with their parents. They attend school except during summer and winter vacations, making it challenging for them to spend a few days in Wufeng, their hometown. They were so eager to visit us here for a couple of days before the Lunar New Year!

Now that they are here, Jean and I are delighted to have organized a special breakfast event at Rose Laura Cafe in Taichung. This is where they could reunite with our good friends, the Lucky-7 for a memorable morning. (Rose Laura Cafe is located at No. 136, Nantun Road (Section 1), West District, Taichung City; it's open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day except Mondays.)

Our Camel Alumni Reunion, which has been on hold for several years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is finally set to happen. The organizing committee from Chiayi, Yunlin, and Tainan has collectively decided to overcome pandemic-related fears, revive the fellowship among Camel classmates, and continue our Camel connection. Venue: Evergreen Palace Hotel Chiayi

(嘉義長榮文苑酒店 located at 嘉義縣太保市故宮大道 777 號)

Alumni Reunion Schedule:

• 11:30 ~ 12:00: Check-in; payment; greetings; receiving souvenirs.
• 12:00 ~ 14:00: Lunch; reminiscing about the old days.
• 14:00 ~ 16:00: Visit the Southern Palace Museum or stroll around in the park.
• 16:00: Event concludes, and participants are free to depart.

Now, Jean and I have joyfully taken part in the Reunion event, relishing the wonderful opportunity to reconnect with my former classmates, Camel Brothers, and their spouses, affectionately known as "tuo sao" (駝嫂) or our cherished "Camel Sisters." May the Lord bless each one of them and us, paving the way for many more delightful reunions in the years to come!
