This morning, I attended a traditional groundbreaking ceremony, serving as a photographer during the ritual proceedings.
Here are some photos I took, which also serve as a visual record of the event. My wife's brother, Anzhen, is planning to build a new factory-and-office complex at this site, as shown in the photos.
