Little Bee Practices Drumming (太鼓教學參觀日)

#2015-1124

The preschool that my first grandson goes to has set a day for students' parents and/or grandparents to watch what the drumming class had been learning, and how they would be further taught, about the Japanese traditional drums called "Taiko" (わだいこ or 太鼓). It is this afternoon that this teaching-and-learning process was open for us to watch.

Since Little Bee's mother was busy taking care of his little brother (Little Shine) and his father is far away in Hong Kong, Jean and I went and attended this particular event instead of them: We watched the little children's performances and were very impressed by the way the teacher led such a young group of kids. If I were the teacher of them, I would not be able to handle those kids well -- They are still "untamed" animals, aren't they? Ha, ha, ha!
