花葉詩

I went to the nearby post office this morning and on my way home, in bright sunshine, I saw small red flowers in the shape of stars blooming among the green vines on the roadside hedges. Being excited, I took a few pictures and composed a short poem in Chinese:

《花葉詩》

晨光照短屏，

愜意逐飛靈；

綠葉千層浪，

紅花五角星。

註：此五絕押「下平聲九青」韻，其平仄格律為 abA 式（首句用韻）。
