優雅的名字 (Students' Names)

I've been teaching Chinese in the summertime for several years. If my memory serves me right, I taught Rebecca and Jillian in 2009; Rusty and Marcela in 2010; Stephanie and Katie in 2011; Jenna and Melissa in 2012; Tom and Maura in 2013; and I've just finished teaching Matisse and Christina today, on the last day of July.

Here are a few pictures that can help me remember my latest Chinese class in this summer, and the Chinese names I especially chose for Matisse and Christina: I called Matisse Ruth Newton 倪美笛 (Ni Meidi), and Christina Elizabeth Simmons I named 沈婷娜 (Shen Ting'na). These Chinese names sound graceful and elegant, don't they?
